When reminiscing about seeing U2 playing the Sphere in Las Vegas, the rush of imagery in those words sung by Bono during the bridge of the band’s smash hit “Beautiful Day” continually floods into my mind. “S ee the world in green and blue / See China right in front of you / See the canyons broken by cloud / See the tuna fleets clearing the sea out / See the bedouin fires at night / See the oil fields at first light / See the bird with a leaf in her mouth / After the flood all the colors came out…” It's hard to stay focused on the band in the Sphere.
